A minister I enjoyed listening to,  Kent Hovind, who happened to get sent to prison for 10 years due to issues with taxes and his belief that they were not fair, had a post today on his blog that he wrote inside prison.  It is a good reminder that God knows what is going on with kingdoms and He is in control:

In a recent article the Pope says he believes there is evidence of Evolution but that does not exclude God's role.  So, I guess he just says God took Billions of years to make His creation and evolved man from apes.  It never amazes me...

It appears there is a link in  a tablet 5,000 years old to a Biblical character, the chief eunuch of Nebuchadnezzar II, king of Babylon.

Today the Pope made it very clear that only the Catholic churches can offer salvation, that mainstream Christain denominations are not true churches and cannot have salvation (looks like he will have a rude awakening when he gets to heaven ):

It is interesting to see how the Muslims try to lay hold of the Temple Mount even though they will not be able to keep it.  This is just another step to try blocking what is on the horizon, a new Jewish Temple that "will" be on the Temple Mount.  It is a disgrace that anything Muslim is anywhere near the Temple Mount!

Anyway, here is the news that Jordan is buying up property around the Temple Mount:

I personally do not support this kind of movie.  Either of the "Almighty" movies nor the older ones such as "Oh God" (with George Burns) or more recent ones like "Leap of Faith".  They seem to bring God down to a carnal level, no longer Lord God Almighty, the Holy true God.  They make light of things that really have no business being disrespected as they are in the movies.

This movie, which seems to make light of the might work of God in the original flood, is not anything I would personally see and I would not expect other Christians to desire to see such a movie.  That said, I did find an interesting review of the movie over at AIG (Answers In Genesis).  You might want to give it a read:
