Over the next couple of years, computer interfaces will drastically change from our current model of a monitor and keyboard.  Some might think we will always have the keyboard, but that may not be the case.  Already, in Windows Vista, dictation is quite usable.  Add to this, the new forms of multi-touch graphic user interfaces and things will be finally moving ahead. 

Following the link below, you will see lower in the article, a video of coming attractions which will be included in the next version of Windows.  Pretty cool stuff if you have a compatible screen.  I will probably just move to laptop/tablet type PCs in the next year or two instead of having desktop machines anymore:
